Don't worry - the TTN Caring Collaborative is here!
The Caring Collaborative is an exclusive TTN program that brings members together in a formal exchange of health focused services and information. Using “time banking” software, members both give and receive assistance, matching those needing care and information with those who are willing to help. Benefits include:
- A concerned person to pick you up after a medical procedure--or escort you to it:
- Relief from the stress of wondering who will care for you after a hospital visit: The CC provides a safety net of peers who will shop for you, pick up a prescription, look in on you to see what you need, provide companionship if you want it;
- A caring person to share information about health experiences: medical diagnoses and conditions, outstanding health care providers, and medical products/devices;
- Another set of eyes and ears at a doctor's visit, to help you digest the information and ask the right questions;
- The chance to participate in a CC neighborhood group, where members exchange knowledge and practical information, meet new people, and listen to health experts;
- Better health and quality of life: emerging research shows that social ties can help people live longer, stave off memory loss and improve chronic disease care.
